How to get here
Cnoc an Theine is situated in the crofting village of Aird, the most southern part of Skye. You can access the Island
via the Mallaig to Armadale ferry, the Skye Bridge or the Glenelg ferry. Please use the map and directions

Mallaig to Armadale ferry
Crossing the ferry from Mallaig to Armadale takes about 25 minutes. Cnoc an Theine is situated about 5 miles from the port.
Follow the A851 - turn into the junction of Ardvasar and follow the road to Aird - after Ardvasar you are driving on single
track road (plenty of passing places and two cattle grids to pass). Continue on this road until you see a phone box - Cnoc
an Theine is situated above the village on the hill and is the first house on your right hand side.
Skye Bridge
After crossing the Skye Bridge travel on the A850 for seven miles to the junction with the A851 to Ardvasar. Travel as above
from the junction of Ardvasar.
Glenelg to Kylerhea ferry (Summer only)
To get to the ferry, follow the road from Invershiel to Glenelg. After crossing on the ferry you will travel on a single track
road to Breakish and the A850. Turn off at the junction to Ardvasar (A851) and follow the directions above from Ardvasar.
