What our guests said about us

It's always a pleasure to open the Visitors Book at the end of our guests stay and read the comments and suggestions that they have taken the trouble to write. We are delighted to receive these words, which helps us to improve our service and so shown below are just a few  extracts from the book. Thank you to all of our guests.

Another delightful and relaxing stay. Would love to take the stunning mountain views and sea with us but will have to save them till we come back again in January. Great to meet you Mags at last and look forward to our return.

A lovely cottage, very well equipped and comfortable. The best holiday cottage we have ever had, with full wall-to wall sunshine as a bonus. We all enjoyed ourselves, the walk to the sandy beach at the Point was relaxing and quiet. Haven't seen any deer, otters or eagles, just a fleeting glimpse of a dolphin and some seals. Never mind it was still great. Many thanks.

The cottage is fantastic, very well equipped and so clean. The view across the Sound is stunning. Have seen an amazing array of wildlife from dolphins to wagtail chicks, which helped to make my first trip to Skye so memorable. As Arni said, " I will be back!"

Had a fab time, nice and relaxing, and the cottage is pretty fantastic, and the views splendid. Everything is here that you need, " 5 star". Thanks Margaret and Rory

Dear Mags, we had a wonderful week in your warm comfortable house. Thank you!

We love the house, it was fun watching Friends on the television together. The weather was amazing. I loved the cool wind and warm sun.

Dear Mags, this is easily the best cottage we have ever stayed in, so clean and comfortable and stunning views. We have had a wonderful time despite the weather. We had one sunny day and walked to the Point of Sleat, it is well worth the effort. There is a beautiful beach and we saw basking sharks, seals and dolphins. Fantastic.

Another wonderful week and can't thank you enough Mags. Yet again the weather was kind to us and we've had some glorious days. It was great to see the fledgling swallows and a real treat to see the young golden eagle in the ploughed field just down the road. Those otters have evaded us despite our best efforts, maybe next time!

Thank you for a lovely relaxing week on Skye. Cnoc an Theine has been a great place for exploring the island and was lovely and cosy when the winter weather decided to return. Enjoyed a good walk to the beach at the Point of Sleat, even our three year old made it! Lots of sea-slugs in rockpools and Rebecca returned with her hand stained purple-the slug didn't appreciate the attention it was getting. Would recommend a drive out to Elgol, stunning views to the Cuillins and a trip on the 'Misty Isle'. Really friendly family run business and fantastic boat ride (and landing) in beautiful scenery. They even allow dogs on the boat and there are no sheep when you land. The Serpentarium at Broadford is an enjoyable experience, very friendly staff with lots of info about the animals. We look forward to returning to Cnoc an Theine one day, hopefully soon!
